What to Expect
Following our short drive from Bloomington, we will spend the morning looking at and learning about the birds that are drawn to the lake. Lake Monroe serves as a magnet for migrating birds throughout the year so we will visit different State Recreation Areas around the lake and possibly other local hotspots too. Songbirds can be seen in trees along the shore while ducks and eagles are possibilities out on the lake. After a day of spotting, learning, and photographing we’ll head back to Bloomington happy, hopefully!
