Let’s celebrate spring with a hike at one of the premier wildflower destinations in our area: McCormick’s Creek State Park. We will brush up on spring ephemerals of the Indiana forests. Plan on hiking 2 miles at a relaxed pace. You have the option of meeting me in Bloomington for a ride or at the park.
Bring binoculars or use one of my pairs, because we will also search for the songbirds that are finally starting to arrive in Indiana. Hopefully we’ll find some early warblers as we focus on identifying songbirds by the calls they make.
