On this tour we will spend the morning driving around Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge near Seymour in search of raptors (like the Northern Harrier) and River Otters. Hopefully we can catch these charismatic creatures putting on a show! In the afternoon, we will travel around the fields near Seymour in hopes of finding flocks of wintering Sandhill Cranes. We might get to see Bald Eagles, Whooping Cranes, or Snow Geese, too! We’ll bird from the van, but if the weather is nice we’ll get out and take some short hikes.
Transportation is provided from Bloomington. We will stop for lunch in Seymour.
