Goose Pond Sunset Tour

Goose Pond FWA in western Greene County is the premier birding spot in southern Indiana. The goal of the sunset tour is to find the charismatic Short-eared Owl as it begins its evening hunt. During the afternoon we also should be able to find a nice mix of raptors, cranes, geese, and more. There is also a good chance of encountering the endangered Whooping Crane! Several pairs spend part of the winter months in or near Goose Pond. Join me for a memorable birding experience.

I will provide drinks and some snacks; you are encouraged to bring a small dinner as well. The tour will depart from Bloomington, but arrangements can be made to meet participants along the route or in Linton.
